No Black Flakes
The filter design helps deliver clean, clear water without visible black flakes.
For best results, always rinse and prepare a new filter before use, and replace the filter regularly according to usage and water quality.
Filter Replacement Guide
For optimal performance, replace the filter approximately every 2 months, depending on your household usage and incoming water quality.
Replace sooner if:
✔ The taste of your water changes
✔ Water flow becomes noticeably slower
✔ The filter has been in use longer than recommended
✔ You want to maintain the freshest possible drinking water
Keeping fresh filters on hand helps your jug continue performing as intended.
Does This Jug Remove Fluoride?
The CARA Water Filter Jug is designed to improve taste and help reduce chlorine, heavy metals, odours and common impurities.
It does not specifically target fluoride.
If fluoride reduction is one of your main priorities, we recommend choosing a CARA reverse osmosis water filtration system, as reverse osmosis is the more suitable filtration method for fluoride reduction.
How to Use
- Remove the new filter from its packaging.
- Rinse the filter under cold running tap water for 30 seconds.
- Insert the filter into the jug reservoir, making sure it is aligned and secure.
